The short answer is that we don’t know how astrology
works. However, we do live in a universe, the extent
of which we cannot begin to measure. Who are we to presume
that we know how astrology works or does not work or
that it does not work? As such, it will remain, at least
for the time being, one of life’s mysteries. But,
because we still cannot prove how astrology works, does
not mean that it doesn't work. For those who will take
the time to study and observe, you will find that it
does work and can be used for tremendous personal benefit.
How
might you use Astrology?
Suppose
you are preparing for a long trip somewhere, a vacation.
You might pack a road map, which you might consult when
you are lost, in need of direction, or are uncertain
about a choice of paths. The map is a tool and gives
you information from which you then make a choice. Your
life is like a journey. Sometimes you’re cruising
along, with no major problems to hamper your progress,
but now and again, you might feel lost, and you will
have choices before you. Wouldn't it be nice, at these
times, to be able to glance at a map and at least confirm
whether or not you are headed in the right direction?
Your astrology birth chart is your personal road map
for your life journey. It provides signposts, benchmarks,
indicators and direction, greatly reducing the stress
of today's fast past lifestyle.
Who
in this day and age consults with an Astrologer?
You
might have the preconceived notion that only very eccentric,
impractical or gullible people consult. If so, I personally
have not seen these persons in my office. The modern
day consumer of astrological services is typically open
minded and ready to explore avenues that are not yet
considered mainstream. I say 'not yet' because it is
only a matter of time before astrological practice will
have found its rightful place in the world.
My
clients are forward thinkers, inquisitive, intelligent,
mostly educated and gainfully employed. What they often
seek is confirmation regarding some questions they have
concerning a matter of importance in their life, such
as a relationship, a business decision or a career choice.
They will typically consult for the first time when
embroiled in a crisis situation and after having exhausted
all the usual avenues of advice, friends, therapists,
lawyers, etc.
The
typical client wants to know that the choices they are
making will lead to greater feeling of fulfillment.
Personal satisfaction has now surpassed material security
as a target goal in life. Astrology has the ideal tools
for revealing personal abilities, traits, inner desires
and purpose plus it provides valuable information about
upcoming trends.
Once
a client has consulted, they will invariably return
on an annual basis for an update. This update enables
them to fine tune their future plans as well as provides
the reassurance that they are indeed on the right path.
In fast times such as these, it is essential to pause
occasionally and check the road map.
